I went to Dallas with friends to watch UT play OU. The drive was about four hours, but we talked so much along the way that it went by faster than I expected.

Some of the people on the trip were new to me. I thought it might be awkward at first, but we got more comfortable as the day went on.

The game was really intense. UT lost, and the ending felt especially disappointing. Seeing the rivalry in person was quite an experience.

Leaving the stadium was another experience entirely. There were so many people that what would normally have been a ten-minute walk took about thirty or forty minutes.

I stayed at a friend's house that night. The house was really nice, and there was a really cute cat. Spending time with the cat was such a relaxing part of the trip. My friend's mom also made us sandwiches and donuts, and the food was really good.
