I'm giving this memoir a try in English. I want to get more comfortable expressing myself in English, and this seems like a good way to practice.

Before class, I worked on my virtualization assignments. They were harder than I expected, and I didn't get very far.

I went to the 3 p.m. cognitive science discussion today. I found out last week that we can attend either session, and this group was much more talkative than my usual one. We discussed AI and LLMs. I can't remember the exact topic now, but I enjoyed the discussion.

Later, I joined a group for dinner. They made steak and pasta, and the food was so good. I thought there would be five or six of us, but eleven people showed up!

We played a round of Super Smash Bros. afterwards, then called it a night because everyone was tired.

Everyone was so welcoming. I think this will end up being one of my favorite memories of Austin.
